About Joe
Joe Pishgar has built his professional life growing communities. As a shepherd of the new digital age, Joe has built communities of millions of people for Microsoft, Disney and Sony out of great ideas, efficient use of technology and a practical approach to outreach.
A resident of West Melbourne, Joe is a civic activist and a strong leader in progressive organizations around Brevard. His lifelong connection to Brevard County lies at the heart of his dedication to the Space Coast and its citizens.
Joe is proud to have attended local schools, beginning with Saturn Elementary and Clearlake Middle School, onwards to Cocoa High and Brevard Community College. After attending Brevard Community College, Joe entered the online community management profession at its early start, helping to pioneer the new discipline by co-founding the Community Managers Group.
Joe was raised by grandparents who instilled within him the values of integrity, loyalty and honor – values he takes with him on the campaign trail. Coming from a poor, working-class background, Joe understands the meaning of a dollar and has known first-hand the struggles families in District 3 face.
